Wow, now this is a shocker.

Remember Wii-exclusive monster/zombie shooter with co-op, The Grinder (Left 4 Dead Wii, if you will)? I'm sure the Wii owners do, at least.

Well, now PS3, 360, and PC owners should get acquainted with it - according to IGN's exclusive interview with High Voltage Software president Kerry Ganofsky and chief creative officer Eric Nofsinger, The Grinder will be giving a taste of good ol' western hell to the owners of these platforms as well... when prompted to answer whether "The Grinder" is still a Wii exclusive game, their response was clear as day.

IGN: Is the plan still to keep Grinder a Wii exclusive?

Kerry: Our secret is out! Grinder is no longer a Wii exclusive. We plan to ship on Xbox 360, Sony PS3, and PC as well.

This surely comes as a surprise - HVS was very proud to be pushing the envelope with their Wii exclusives (do you remember The Conduit's graphics hype and showcase trailers? I sure do!), but now they seem to deviate from being "Wii-only" developers. I can tell you that I honestly did not see this coming, and you probably didn't either... most of you, at least.

Along with these news, IGN also released a new trailer:

Source: IGN (You can read the whole interview here - it contains lots of info on the game and how HVS are faring in development, along with some game art).
